I totally agree.

Played this last config night and I reckon, bouncy nades are the way forward. Those sticking nades ruin the flow of the game, if you know what I mean.

The rest of the config is sweet though!!! I was a bit suprised at the stingy ammo limit (good move). I found myself playing in a kinda cpma/e+ crossover style.

I will implement bouncy nades in the next version for a test.

EDIT: New version is made, but not on any servers yet.

EDIT2:

  • v1.2.12-07-07

    increased: lg damage (still lower than v1.Innocent.
    decreased: pg damage (significantly).
    changed: nades are bouncy and sticky (3 bounces).

tonight im gonna post a major revision.

the armor system is changed to have "soft" and "hard" limits, same for health.

also nades now have a much faster reload.

Are there people interested in a short one night tournament using this cfg?

dont use bounce 3 for nades, its bugged
for having baseq3 nades use bounce -1

tested it offline a bit, liked it and uploaded to zoo-ctf-server. my first impressions (i tested only in ctf):

things i dont like in ctf in m0ve.cfg:
- nades should have (a bit) faster reload
- plasmamovement is imho too hard to control - slower firerate?
- and of course: anticamp Happy

things i like in ctf in m0ve.cfg
- different feeling, new possibilities
- rocketmovement is back!
- more tactics and mapcontrol needed

however, i gonna talk to other zoos, perhaps i gonna make the conf default on zoo servers for some days, for the moment, its at least votable

new version has slower rocket reload (baseq3 like).

@ plastorm: it is currently only tuned for 1v1. I later plan to make highly strategic tdm and ctf configs. But for now, it is 1v1 only, so perhaps you shouldnt use it yet as default Winking

It might seem so now, it takes a lot of training to master it, but when you do, it is amazing to use. I curently can only use it on dm2, and there it rules Happy
