I know one more way to help solve that problem! 
if somebody have problem whit Quake name tool...
Just put the tag in text.document and send him via msn 
Should works... try it

Jeez.
It dosen't matter how you send it, Deky. What matters is how Windows decodes and recognizes the letters, as Ratz wrote. You can save it in a .txt document, archive it, burn on dvd, and protect with latest CIA technology, it makes no difference, coz it will always look the same FOR YOU ON YOUR COMPUTER. When sent, you don't sent the info with the file how the recipents windows should see the letters, he uses the table currently loaded with the os. :roll:

but when i set eng[us] my pc fucks everything, i cant normaly unrar files in C:\, cant instal some games with russian version, cant normally copy files......... SHIT?

Yes u could have problems if u are using some programs in a language which has special non-standard characters.I use all programs in english so I dont have any problems,if u dont like it,just set it back to whatever language u want,then your programs will work but then u will have problems with codes from qname

That wont work deky.The reason Im replying so late is cause madbringer directed someone to this thread,and I dont want them to "die trying" saving it in a text file,cause notepad and wordpad wont let u save your tag that simple,they wont be able to recognize the characters unless u use the method I described in the 1st post.After that,u can do whatever u want with your tag.
