I want to make a shortcut with q3, a special cfg and of course E+ on my desktop. I can't exactly remember the right command line.

Must be something like that, but this doesn't work:

C:\Programme\Quake III Arena\quake3.exe+set fs_game excessiveplus+exec sub"

my Q3 path:
C:\Programme\Quake III Arena\quake3.exe

command for loading e+ at startup:
+set fs_game excessiveplus

my cfg:
+exec sub

It must be
[code:1]"C:\Programme\Quake III Arena\quake3.exe" +set fs_game excessiveplus +exec sub[/code:1]

And exactly like this, I mean with the " (quote) on the right place.

Me again:

I want to start e+ via a button on my desktop. It should autmatically load plus.cfg, my cfg, a map and maybe some bots. Sadly I can't get command line fixed, who can help?

That (and some more stuff) is what I've tried yet:
[code:1]"C:\Programme\Quake3\quake3.exe" +set fs_game excessiveplus +rconpassword test +rcon load conf/plus.cfg +map q3dm17 +addbot doom 5[/code:1]

Almost, after loading plus.cfg it changes map back to dm1...any idea why?

its prob in e+ for fix it after + load conf/plus.cfg add next: + wait 200 + map q3dm17[code:1]C:\Programme\Quake3\quake3.exe +set fs_game excessiveplus + exec your_player_cfg.cfg + map q3dm17 +addbot doom 5 + wait 500 + load conf/plus.cfg + wait 200 + map q3dm17[/code:1]

Nah, jokes aside, it didn't work for me. Thx nevertheless, changing the map manually is no big deal.

yes when im launching e+ and pick a map it always changes 2 dm1, my solution is make ur own server.cfg own rotation.txt file and i command line write everything like in xp_dedicated.bat file but without "dedicated 2" (or something like this) or make ur own .bat file, its nice and fast.. btw whats enjoying in gaming with bots on plus.cfg :roll: ... Happy
